Laurie J. Matthews, PT/Owner

Laurie graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of New England, 1991, with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She has been a licensed and practicing Physical Therapist for 19 years in the Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire area and opened Elite Orthopedic and Sports Rehab, LLC in November 2007.

Laurie has focused her clinical training in Orthopedic, Sports Medicine, Manual Therapy and Spinal Rehabilitation. She is committed to ongoing education and has coordinated clinical education programs for both college and high school students. She is a long standing member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Private Practice and Sports Physical Therapy Sections. Her compassionate nature, along with her clinical expertise, provides exceptional service to her patients and all others involved with their care.

Laurie was raised in Andover, MA and currently resides in Salem, NH with her husband Dave, daughters Alyssa and Ashley, and Yellow Lab “Brady”.

Nancy Buckley, PT, MS

Nancy graduated Cum Laude, from Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and received her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from MGH, Institute of Health Professions, Boston, MA in 2001, where she maintained a GPA of 3.99.

Nancy has been practicing in Outpatient Orthopedic facilities and has maintained her professional licensure through continuing education courses with emphasis on Orthopedic, Sports Medicine, Manual Therapy and Spinal Rehabilitation.  She has also been involved with many programs that pertain to the care of people, specifically the homeless and abused women and children.  She also volunteers yearly at the Susan B. Komen 3 Day walk for Breast Cancer assisting injured participants.  Her hospitality, kindness and experiences within the field of Physical Therapy allows her to provide a substantial service to her patients, co-workers, and those who are in coordination with the health care provided.

Nancy was raised in Andover, MA and currently resides in Methuen, MA with her husband Matt and her daughters Abby and Michela.

Lisa Carter, BS Office Manager

Lisa is a graduate of Bridgewater State College, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science.  She has worked in outpatient Physical Therapy facilities for the past 12 years, assisting in treatments for Orthopedic and Sports related injuries.  Along with her strong educational background, Lisa is also a former collegiate soccer player, which has provided her with a solid understanding of fitness and its relevance to rehabilitation.

Lisa is also an experienced office manager, who efficiently implements all front office responsibilities in a neat and organized manner. She communicates with patients, providers, insurance companies, attorneys and any other entities involved with the patient’s care.
